Eating with Us

Dinner and Breakfast

At Grants we offer our dinner and breakfasts for our guests.

Dinner must be reserved in advance of your stay and is available Tuesday to Saturday, served at 7pm. We use as much of the fantastic seasonal, fresh, local produce as we can, when it is available. Grants has a full alcohol licence and has a comprehensive wine list with a selection of whiskies, local ales, spirits and liqueurs.

Breakfast is available each day of your stay and is served from 7.30am until 9.00am.

A selection of dishes that are typically on our menus can be seen on the sample dinner and breakfast menus, which show some of our most popular dishes.

Provenance Statement

Here at Grants we believe the food you experience is an extremely important part of your stay and use local produce wherever we are able to.  Our dinner menu changes each day according to availability.  As you would expect, it makes the most of the fantastic west coast seafood and fish, as well as Scottish meat, game and poultry together with fabulous Scottish cheeses.  Grants has a comprehensive wine and drinks list which includes local beers and a fine selection of Scottish malt whiskies.  You will also find local meat and fish on our breakfast menu.  If you have any special food requests, please don’t hesitate to ask when you book and we will do our best to source it for you.

Weddings and Special Occasions

Grants is available for exclusive use and we are always happy to customise menus for your stay, particularly if your stay is for a special occasion. Further information is available on the Exclusive Use page under Special Events.

Food and Wine Tasting Short Breaks

Grants also offers food and wine matching short breaks during the quieter months and further information is available on the Wine Tasting page also under Special Events.

Non Residents

Grants dining room is usually for residents only, however, we are occasionally able to offer tables to non-residents if there are already residents dining and space available.
